YAC - Youth Advice Centre
Drop -In Service for young people- currently working remotely .
Monday-Friday Housing Advice (16-25 year old) 9-12pm – Free and confidential support and advice for young people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.( First place to go for housing advice in the city for 16-25 year olds).
Family Mediation (16/17 year old) 9-12pm – Supportive service to mend relationships and restore communication for 14-18 year olds and their parents /carers. ( now 14-25 years)
Support and Advice (13-25 year old) 3-6pm – Offers regular one-to-one support around emotional health and wellbeing, including support with anger management, self-esteem, stress, anxiety and self-harm. This also includes a sexual health service which provides C-card (condoms), pregnancy tests, chlamydia and gonorrhea tests.
Youth Employability Service Drop in, Tuesdays 1-3pm – no longer running drop ins.
