Fareshare Sussex
From our depot in Moulsecoomb FareShare Sussex distributes approximately 150 tonnes of surplus food to charities and community groups across Sussex and Surrey. Hundreds of thousands of tonnes of good food is wasted by the UK food industry every year. At the same time, millions of people are struggling to afford to eat.
Our work addresses these two issues by redistributing food industry surplus which would otherwise be wasted, to the people that need it most.
We offer structured volunteering opportunities, as well as employment support if you are looking for work.
